AccessPrivacy Submission to the OPC’s Consultation on the Draft Guidance for Processing Biometrics

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s (OPC’s) draft guidance on organizations’ privacy obligations for processing biometric information was the focus of an AccessPrivacy workshop on February 8, 2024.

Over 70 Chief Privacy Officers, senior counsel and privacy professionals across a range of industry sectors, including representatives from retail, health, banking, telecommunications, trade associations, and other public and private sector organizations attended the workshop.

AccessPrivacy shared a recording of the workshop with the OPC as a submission to the consultation on the draft guidance.
