Patricia Kosseim appointed as the new Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario
AccessPrivacy is pleased to congratulate Patricia Kosseim on her appointment today as the new Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. She will begin a five-year term starting July 1, 2020.
Patricia Kosseim joined Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt in 2018 as counsel to its Privacy and Data Management Practice Group and has served as co-lead of the AccessPrivacy knowledge platform, an integrated suite of innovative information solutions, consulting services and thought leadership. Prior to joining Osler, Pat served as Senior General Counsel and Director General at the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Pat is an acknowledged Canadian leader in privacy, access to information law and data ethics.
