Bridget McIlveen practises with Heenan Blaikie’s Privacy and Information Management group. She advises clients on a broad range of privacy and information management matters, including drafting privacy policies, responding to investigations by privacy regulatory authorities, conducting privacy and security reviews/audits, drafting outsourcing and service provider agreements involving the transfer of personal information, assisting clients in responding to privacy/security incidents, and conducting privacy impact assessments.
Bridget also reviews advertising and promotional programs involving personal information and advises clients on consumer protection issues associated with carrying on business over the Internet, including Canada's anti-spam legislation.
Bridget joined Heenan Blaikie as an associate in 2010 after summering and articling with the firm.
