Biography

Amir is an Associate in the Privacy and Data Management group. He advises both large clients and start-ups from all sectors in respect of a wide range of privacy and cybersecurity matters, advising on legislation and regulations at both the federal and provincial levels. Amir’s practice includes advising clients on privacy issues arising from emerging technologies and issues that arise in the course of mergers and acquisitions. Amir also advises organizations on their responses to data breaches, assists with regulatory notification and investigations, conducts privacy reviews and assessments, and drafts and reviews privacy policies, practices, and procedures.

Prior to joining Osler, Amir practiced at a national law firm in Toronto.
